How does all of this work?

Here's the process:

  • You start by completing the New Client Application which gives us some basic information through the Time to Pet software.

  • Once the Application is approved, you now have secure access to your Client Portal. You can request a time for a meet & greet, add information about you & your pets, have a conversation with us, check your invoices, and even make a Request for Services.

  • We also use this software to send you a Report Card after each visit with the time we arrived and left, pictures &/or videos, a written description and also GPS tracking for dog walks.

  • Next, we set up a meet and greet in your home to meet you & your pets.

  • If you decide to proceed with Leave With Ease we will send you a Contract of Services, listing the dates & times of services, emergency contacts, vaccination status, Vet information, and specific details about our visits/walks.

  • We then send you instructions on how to make a booking deposit by e-transfer to secure your dates.

  • Once the contract is signed and the booking deposit is made, we're good to go.

Our experience has proven that your pet does best in a safe, comfortable environment with familiar routines.

That is your home.

It's hard enough for a pet having a new pet sitter or dog walker. Imagine the added stress of a strange house, strange animals, or a strange kennel as well. Yuck!

Even if you have a "perfect dog", they may not react well to new surroundings or playing with new animals.

All of this adds unnecessary stress for you & your pets.

How can we trust you?

We operate a professional business that tries to make sure that both you and your pets are taken care of should unforeseen circumstances arise (as they often do!)

Here are some things that Leave With Ease offers our customers:

  • We are family owned & operated. You will always be assigned a primary pet caregiver, but sometimes "life gets in the way". Should that happen, we cover for each other to make absolutely certain we never miss an assignment.

  • We have pet first aid & CPR certification.

  • Insurance covering damage to your pet/home.

  • We are Fear Free Certified Professionals...only the second pet sitting and dog walking business in Greater Victoria having this certification.

  • Inter-municipal business license for all 13 communities in Victoria.

  • We're bonded which provides a layer of trust between us. We provide a way for you to be made financially whole if something goes wrong.

  • All staff has passed their criminal records check.

  • You can always check out our testimonials on our Google Business Page and/or our Facebook business page as well.

Do you do pack walks?

No we don't. And while we realize from a business perspective that it would be more cost effective to walk 5 or 6 dogs at a time, it's just not worth the risk. It only takes one reactive/anxious puppy to start a brawl!

It's the same reason why we don't do off-leash dog walking. It only takes one strange dog that doesn't respond to voice commands...and you get the picture...

When you leave your pets and home with strangers, you might have concerns. Things that may make you feel uncomfortable.

As lifelong pet owners, our family owned & operated business strives to be the best pet sitters and dog walkers in Greater Victoria. After all, we want to treat our customers the way we want to be treated...and ALWAYS do what is best for your pet and home.

We have tried to address your concerns so that you can "leave with ease":

  • Worried that we are not a good fit? It might be a problem for us as well! That's why we do a free meet & greet in your home so we ALL get to know each other and make sure that you, your pets, and our staff are a good mix.

  • Poor communication? If you decide to book the services of Leave With Ease we will sign you up with an account, giving you easy access to request services, emergency contacts, invoicing, pet profile(s), and instant messaging with our team. You will even receive a Report Card with time in and out, pet or home pictures, GPS co-ordinates, and a note about each walk or visit!

  • Dislike the thought of stressing out your pet by transporting them to a boarding kennel or a stranger's home? Not keen on pack/group walks or off-leash romps with other animals, because of potential fights and disease transmission? Our values ensure that your pets are cared for in the stress-free environment of your own home and neighbourhood.

  • Afraid that something should happen to your pet while you are away or they might have medical issues? Our staff is certified in pet first aid & CPR through Pet Sitters International, just in case.

  • Object to the thought of strangers coming into your home? That's why we're licensed, bonded, and insured, with all of us having passed criminal record checks.

  • Concerned that your pet sitter or dog walker will miss a scheduled appointment? All four of our Greater Victoria pet sitters and dog walkers are members of the Simon family, to ensure quality & dependability. Adult daughters Angela & Nicolle cover Vic West and Esquimalt pet sits and dog walks. Parents Dale & Frank cover the Saanich Peninsula including Central Saanich, Saanichton, Brentwood Bay, North Saanich and Sidney pet sitting and dog walking. As a family, we also cover for each other to ensure there are no missed pet sits or dog walks.

Our family has two pit bull rescues and two cats, so we "get it" and are experienced in dealing with special issues.
